AGSE Product Technician
Responsibilities

Carry out the inspection, servicing, maintenance, repair and refurbishment of Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE).

Diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure equipment is returned to service efficiently.

Perform testing, calibration and certification activities in line with company and industry standards.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers and internal departments.

Complete maintenance records, technical reports and associated documentation accurately.

Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company quality, safety and compliance procedures.

Support equipment commissioning, installation and customer training activities where required.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reliability and operational efficiency.
Knowledge and Skills
-
Previous engineering experience within aerospace, manufacturing, rail or a similar technical industry.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics and technical documentation.

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills across mechanical systems.

Experience using workshop tools, test equipment and calibration equipment.
-
Good communication and organisational skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.

Previous experience working with Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) would be advantageous.

Experience of calibration and testing processes is desirable.

Knowledge of aviation industry standards would be beneficial; full training will be provided.

Qualification in a Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace or Engineering discipline is desirable.
