Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Window & Door Fitter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows and doors across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help ensure that each installation meets safety standards, quality expectations, and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects while utilizing a broad skill set that includes carpentry, fabrication, and various construction techniques. Responsibilities
- Measure and assess window and door openings to ensure precise fitting and alignment
- Install new windows and doors using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques
- Remove old or damaged fixtures safely and efficiently before installing replacements
- Read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to follow project specifications accurately
- Perform finishing tasks such as construction painting, sealing, weatherproofing, and masonry work as needed
- Collaborate with team members ,
- Maintain a clean work environment by organising tools, disposing of debris responsibly, and adhering to safety protocols
Experience
- Proven experience in construction with a focus on window and door installation
- Strong competency in roofline installation (fascia, soffits and guttering) is desirable
- Complete re roof and repacement conservatory roofs
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding equipment, and fabrication machinery
- Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans
- Ability to adapt quickly to different project requirements while maintaining high-quality standards
