We're looking for an experienced Server / Waiter to join our New Waverley team for the remainder of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
We're exceptionally busy throughout August and need someone who can join the team quickly and feel confident working in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
This is a temporary position for the remainder of the Fringe, ideal for someone looking for additional hospitality work without late-night shifts.
The Role
- Serving guests during busy brunch services.
- Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Running food and drinks.
- Helping keep service fast, organised and friendly during peak periods.
- Supporting the wider front of house team wherever required.
What We're Looking For
- Previous restaurant, café or hospitality experience.
- Confident working in a busy, high-volume service.
- Able to get up to speed quickly with minimal supervision.
- Reliable, punctual and comfortable working under pressure.
- Available to start immediately.
Hours
- Temporary position for the remainder of the Edinburgh Fringe.
- Variable hours depending on business requirements and availability.
- A good level of availability throughout the remainder of August is preferred.
- Daytime shifts only.
- No evening or late-night work.
Pay
- £12.71 per hour.
- Tronc paid on top, typically £3.00–£3.50 per hour.
