About the Role
Modular Fabrications is looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our growing team with an immediate start available.
This is a hands-on role supporting our manufacturing and fabrication operations. You’ll be responsible for assisting tradespeople, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, moving materials, and helping ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting skilled tradespeople with daily tasks.
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials safely.
- Preparing work areas and keeping them clean and organised.
- Operating basic hand and power tools (where trained).
- General lifting and manual handling duties.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times.
- Assisting with assembly, fabrication, and installation work as required.
- Carrying out general labouring duties across the workshop and site.
Preferred Experience
While training can be provided, the following experience is desirable:
- Previous experience in a labouring, construction, manufacturing, or fabrication environment.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
- Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).

- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
- Willingness to learn new skills.
- Flexible to work overtime when required.
