We are a well-established specialist plumbing merchant looking for a motivated, hard-working, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Sales Assistant.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and is keen to build a long-term career within the plumbing and heating industry. Previous industry experience is beneficial, but we believe attitude, commitment, and a willingness to learn are just as important. Full product training will be provided.
As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our customers and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our sales counter and office. Whether serving customers face-to-face, over the phone, or by email, you will provide outstanding service and help customers find the right heating parts and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving trade and retail customers at the sales counter.
- Answering customer enquiries face to face, by telephone and email.
- Processing sales orders and quotations accurately and efficiently.
- Identifying and supplying domestic and commercial heating spare parts.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Assisting with stock control, stock replenishment, and general housekeeping.
- Supporting the team with day-to-day sales and administrative duties.
- Contributing to a positive and professional customer experience at all times.
