We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our family run dental practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent client service, and maintaining the overall efficiency of the practice. Responsibilities
- Supervise and support dental and administrative staff to ensure high standards of service and care
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, billing, and expense control
- Implement and monitor human resources policies, including recruitment, training, and staff development programmes
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and health & safety standards
- Manage patient relationships, addressing concerns promptly and professionally
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and optimise practice workflows for maximum efficiency
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to practice operations
- Assist in marketing initiatives to promote the practice’s services within the community
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a healthcare or dental setting
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams effectively
- Sound financial management capabilities, including budgeting and expense oversight
- Knowledge of human resources practices, including recruitment, training, and employee relations
- Dental experience or background is highly desirable to understand clinical workflows and client needs
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
