We are looking for an experienced Duty Manager / Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team.
The role would be 5 days out of 7 and hours between 7am and 11pm. Usual shifts would be 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service at all times. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for supervising staff, managing guest relations, and maintaining high standards of service throughout the hotel.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of hotel staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Oversee the front desk operations, including check-in and check-out procedures.
- Assist in training new staff members on hotel policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and events to provide guests with accurate information.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness and adherence to safety standards.
- Prepare reports on operational performance and guest feedback for management review.
Experience
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent guest services skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences for guests.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for effective communication with guests from various backgrounds.
- A solid understanding of human resources practices within the hospitality sector is beneficial.
