Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a cook. This role involves the preparation and presentation of meals in a professional kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in culinary arts, food safety, and delivering excellent service. All roles are paid, including internships, and provide a platform for career growth within the hospitality industry.
Position involves weekend work, on a rota system, candidate will have between 1 to 2 weekends off per month
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness throughout all food handling processes
- Support meal presentation and ensure dishes are served promptly and attractively
- Assist with organising kitchen supplies, stock rotation, and inventory management
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe working environment
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by collaborating effectively with colleagues
- Support serving staff during busy periods to ensure smooth service delivery
- Abilty to work on your own
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A genuine interest in culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
- Ability to work flexibly across various shifts as required

Pay: £12.72-£14.50 per hour
