We are seeking skilled and reliable Vacuum Tanker Drivers to join our team in Beccles. As a Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting waste to designated locations. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate tanker trucks to transport waste to assigned destinations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Adhere to company policies and procedures for safe transportation and delivery
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure
Skills:
- Valid HGV Class 2 driver's license
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on the road
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members
