Overview
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Reformer Pilates Teacher to join our dynamic fitness team. In this role, you will inspire and motivate clients by delivering engaging, safe, and effective reformer Pilates classes that enhance strength, flexibility, and overall well-being. Your expertise will help participants achieve their fitness goals while fostering a positive and encouraging environment. Duties
- Lead engaging Reformer Pilates classes tailored to various skill levels, ensuring proper technique and safety at all times
- Demonstrate exercises clearly, providing modifications to accommodate individual needs and abilities
- Monitor participants during sessions, offering personalized feedback to maximize effectiveness and prevent injury
- Maintain a clean, organized studio environment by sanitizing equipment and preparing the space before each class
- Educate clients on body alignment, anatomy basics, and the benefits of Pilates to enhance their understanding and commitment
- Support clients in setting achievable fitness goals and track their progress over time
- Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to deliver high-quality instruction
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, preferably with a focus on Pilates or similar movement modalities
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and body mechanics to ensure safe instruction and injury prevention
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage diverse groups of clients
- Demonstrated ability to adapt exercises for different skill levels and physical conditions
- Certification in Reformer Pilates instruction from a recognized organization is highly desirable
- Prior experience working with clients in a fitness or wellness setting is preferred
- Passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their wellness goals
