Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Hygienic Wallcladding Installer to join our team. This role involves installing specialised hygienic wall coverings in various commercial and industrial environments, ensuring high standards of hygiene and durability. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, working with a range of tools and materials, and adhering to strict safety and quality standards. Prior construction or installation experience is essential, with additional skills in welding, fabrication, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, roofing, and the use of power tools being highly advantageous. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation of hygienic wallcladding systems.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, levelling, and ensuring they meet required specifications before installation.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to cut, shape, and install wall cladding materials.
- Perform heavy lifting of panels and materials safely to facilitate efficient installation processes.
- Apply knowledge of construction practices such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, plumbing, and fabrication to support the installation process.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards throughout each project phase.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organising tools and disposing of waste materials appropriately.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or installation roles; specific experience with hygienic wall cladding is preferred but not essential.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques.
- Knowledge of construction disciplines such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, plumbing, or related fields is desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Good organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments.
- Physical fitness to undertake manual tasks including standing for extended periods and working at heights if required.
- Relevant safety certifications or willingness to undertake training in health & safety procedures is advantageous.
