IntraHealth is one of the UK’s leading providers of NHS Primary and Community Care services. We serve a range of patients across our three divisions of Primary Care (general practice), Pharmacy and Clinical Services which includes anticoagulation monitoring, patient medication reviews and childhood immunisation programmes.
We also provide management and clinical support to other GP practices and NHS bodies. We are a well-established organisation having provided NHS services since the company was founded in 1999. Our team is made up of GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs), Nurses, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Health Care Assistants (HCAs) and local administration teams supported by a centralised back office function, providing finance, HR, administration and data analysis support.
We operate NHS services across the North East, North West and Yorkshire.
IntraHealth are currently recruiting for a Salaried General Medical Practitioner to help deliver our vision of high-quality medical services at our well-established, progressive, friendly practice team in William Brown Centre, Peterlee.
We are progressive and dynamic, embracing new technology and new ways of working ranging from daily telephone triage to video and e-consultations. We offer a flexible approach to division of roles and responsibilities within our small friendly and experienced practice team. The clinical teams are also well supported by an excellent administration and management team; this allows our GPs to concentrate on clinical work. You will be a team player who is keen to support and contribute to our program of continuous improvements and monthly clinical meetings and work with us to ensure we maintain our high QOF results. You will support the manager in PCN and ICB meetings and participate in audits and other work assigned to the practice.
