Serta Systems Ltd are a commercial fire and security provider based in Walsall. They specialise in designing, installing, and maintaining fire and security equipment, including advanced CCTV and surveillance technology, fire alarms, intruder alarms and access control systems for commercial and industrial properties across the UK. They are now recruiting for a brand new apprentice to help with their London based projects!
As an apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to install, maintain and fault-find on the following systems:
Access Control
Video Surveillance
Intruder Alarms
Fire Alarms
A UK drivers license is required due to the travel requirements of the role
Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS background check
Must be comfortable working at height due to the nature of the role
Maths and English at grade 4 GCSE (or equivalent) or above
Comfortable with the occasional overnight stay if the job requires it (accommodation expenses are covered by the employer, and this will not be a regular occurrence)
Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
Electrical, engineering or power tool experience would be a bonus

Your apprenticeship training is delivered by Skills for Security, specialists in fire and security training.
You’ll train through block release at our Watford or Dagenham centre (depening on where the successful candiadte is based), for one week every eight weeks (Tuesday–Friday).
You’ll work towards a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship, gaining real skills and a nationally recognised qualification.
