Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Bakery Cleaner to join our dynamic team. In this essential role, you will ensure our bakery remains spotless, hygienic, and inviting , Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will help uphold our high standards of food safety and overall presentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all bakery areas, including floors, work surfaces, equipment, and storage spaces
- Maintain cleanliness of customer-facing areas to ensure a welcoming environment
- Follow health and safety regulations by properly sanitizing tools, surfaces, and communal spaces
- Dispose of waste responsibly and manage recycling procedures efficiently
- Complete deep cleaning tasks during scheduled intervals to uphold hygiene standards
- Use commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively to maximize cleaning efficiency
- Support the team by maintaining a tidy workspace throughout each shift
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work, preferably within food service environments
- Knowledge of proper sanitation practices and health safety regulations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude toward teamwork
