Your main duties will include:
- Accurately and safely dispensing prescription medications using our pharmacy system.
- Managing stock control, including ordering, rotating, and checking expiry dates.
- Welcoming patients warmly, handling enquiries, and handing out completed prescriptions.
- Assisting the Pharmacist with daily tasks, clinical audits, and maintaining clean, organised dispensing areas.
- Ensuring strict adherence to legal, ethical, and safety guidelines (including SOPs).
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
- Qualification: NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills (or equivalent Dispensing Assistant qualification) is essential.
- Experience: Proven experience working as a dispenser within a community or hospital pharmacy setting.
- Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a reliable, team-player attitude.
- Tech: Comfortable using tech - Our current pharmacy PMR systems is Titan, Experience is not required as full training will be provided.
We are looking for someone for 30 hours per week. Monday-Friday 9am-4pm with 1 hour lunch.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 per week
