Job Description: Senior Beauty Therapist (NVQ Level 3)
Hours: 16 to 32 hours per week (Part-Time / Flexible)
Location: Manor Health and Beauty Club, Southcrest Manor Hotel, Redditch, Worcestershire
Shifts: 7-day rota, including weekends and a variety of shifts. Please state any specific weekly commitments or hour requirements upon application.

Our popular Manor Health and Beauty Club offers high-quality male and female treatments (massages, facials, CND Shellac manicures/pedicures, waxing, spray tans, and Pamper Packages) alongside a fully equipped gym, two saunas, and a hydrotherapy hot tub. We are proudly Elemis accredited. Due to continued success, we are seeking a confident, proactive, and experienced Senior Beauty Therapist to join and help lead our dedicated team.
About Your Role
As a Senior Beauty Therapist, you will bridge the gap between delivering exemplary hands-on treatments and assisting with the daily leadership of the Club. You will act as a role model for junior staff, ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols, and maintain the exceptionally high standards our members and hotel guests expect.
Key Responsibilities
Advanced Treatment Delivery & Guest Experience
- Deliver premium beauty treatments to an exemplary standard, including Elemis facials, deep tissue massage, waxing, spray tanning, and CND Shellac nail services.
- Conduct thorough client consultations and maintain flawless digital/physical paperwork, including consultation cards, bookings, and payments.
- Provide a warm, friendly, and consistent personalized service to all hotel guests, members, and local clients.
Leadership & Daily Operations
- Support the day-to-day running of the Health & Beauty Club, including reception duties, answering phone calls, and managing bookings under pressure.
- Mentor and support junior therapists, assisting with their onboarding, technical treatment standards, and professional growth.
- Liaise seamlessly with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations for spa days and residential pamper packages.
Safety, Compliance & Maintenance
- Uphold high grooming standards and ensure treatment rooms are pristine by following daily cleaning schedules.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, COSHH regulations, and legislation across the club.
- Manage daily maintenance of the hydrotherapy hot tub chemical balance in coordination with the hotel maintenance team.
- Maintain departmental security regarding cash handling, retail stock levels, and spa equipment.
Job Requirements
Experience & Qualifications:
- Education: NVQ Level 3 or above in Beauty Therapy (Required).
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of salon or spa experience (1 year minimum at Level 3 required).
- Massage & Nails: Strong hands-on proficiency in Deep Tissue Massage, Waxing, and Shellac/Gel manicures.
- Brand Training: Elemis and CND Shellac training is highly preferred (though full training can be provided for the right senior candidate).
