The Trade Collective is a growing residential construction company delivering high-quality renovations, extensions, structural alterations, outdoor living spaces, swimming pools and bespoke residential projects across Wiltshire, the Cotswolds and surrounding areas.
We’re looking for an experienced builder/carpenter to join our team on a regular basis, with the opportunity to become a key part of the business as we continue to grow.
The Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable tradesperson who takes pride in their work, can work independently and is confident leading projects on site.
The successful candidate will be involved in a wide variety of residential projects and will be expected to help organise day-to-day site activities, coordinate with subcontractors and provide direction to junior team members where required.

Responsibilities
- First and second fix carpentry
- General building and construction works
- Structural alterations and refurbishment projects
- Reading and interpreting drawings
- Organising day-to-day site activities
- Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers
- Leading small teams on site
- Supporting and guiding junior team members
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, organisation and site safety
Requirements
- Proven experience in carpentry and general building
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of work on site
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to lead small teams and organise workloads effectively
- Good communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Own van and tools
- Reliable, professional and well-presented

- Site supervision or foreman experience

Working Hours
