Overview:
We are seeking an industry-experienced Supervisor to join our Passive Fire Team. You’ll be part of a busy team, working closely with our other Engineers & Operatives, office-based support teams, contractors and our clients, to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of our contracts.
Hours:
This role is Mon – Fri, 37.5 hours a week. Overtime and weekend work is available as and when. Some reasonable, pre-agreed flexibility may be required on start/finish time in line with works. Pre-arranged travel required occasionally.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise passive fire operatives and subcontractors.
- Coordinate daily works and site activities.
- Ensure works follow drawings, specifications and manufacturers’ instructions.
- Inspect fire-stopping works for quality and compliance.
- Identify and manage defects and remedial works.
- Ensure correct materials and systems are used.
- Complete site inspections, check sheets and quality records.
- Maintain photographic and installation records.
- Ensure operatives follow RAMS and site safety procedures.
- Liaise with site managers, clients and other trades.
- Monitor progress and ensure works are completed on programme.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Passive Fire Protection or relevant construction trade
- Level 3/4 qualification in Fire Safety or Fire Protection
- Relevant passive fire-stopping installation and inspection training
- CSCS Skilled Worker/Supervisor card
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
- Manufacturer-specific training for fire-stopping systems
