The Unicorn on the Beach is a contemporary pub and restaurant in Porthtowan, near Truro, whose beloved general manager of many years is due to set sail to open her own business. We therefore have an upcoming vacancy for a new General Manager, to drive the business to the next level.
The successful candidate will also oversee the opening of our new bar in Penzance and help to make that in to a success.
The successful candiate will;
Be an experienced hospitality manager able to take sole responsibility for the site, its guests and the team.
Manage the pub's bar and restaurant, the outside terrace and bars.
Able to motivate and help to lead a great team to continue to deliver the best customer service.
Be computer literate and understand the importance of keeping rota/labour tight, and costs under control.
Be smart and switched on and always looking for ways to improve the offer.
Salary according to experience.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
