We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Kitchen Supervisor to lead our busy Grass Hoppers kitchen within our popular soft play area.
This is a role for someone who can confidently take ownership of a kitchen, lead a team, and maintain high standards every day.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for candidates with previous kitchen leadership or supervisory experience who can confidently step into the role from day one.
- Lead from the front: Take day-to-day control of the kitchen, ensuring smooth service and consistently high food quality
- Drive standards: Maintain excellent food hygiene, allergen awareness, and compliance with all food safety regulations
- Support and develop the team: Train, guide, and motivate team members to work efficiently and safely
- Quality control: Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to the required standard every time
- Kitchen organisation: Keep the kitchen clean, well-stocked, and running efficiently at all times
- Manage pressure: Stay calm and organised during busy periods, especially weekends and school holidays
- Continuous improvement: Identify ways to improve processes, reduce waste, and raise overall standards
- ✔ Proven kitchen experience in a supervisory or senior role
- ✔ Strong understanding of food hygiene, safety, and allergen management
- ✔ Confidence in leading a team and working independently
- ✔ Ability to organise, prioritise, and maintain standards under pressure
- ✔ A proactive, hands-on approach — you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves
- ✔ Reliable, responsible, and committed to high standards
- Term time: 22.75 hours per week
- School holidays: 26.5 hours per week
- Includes alternate weekends
- No late nights — kitchen closes at 3:30pm
