Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the installation, service, and breakdown of air conditioning systems across a range of commercial and industrial sites throughout the North West and beyond. - Salary: £42,000 per annum
- Location: North West (Liverpool / Manchester preferred) — some travel required

Key Responsibilities
- Install a wide range of air conditioning systems including splits, VRV/VRF, and close control units to the highest standard
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing, and fault diagnosis on installed systems
- Respond to breakdown callouts efficiently, diagnosing and resolving faults with minimal downtime
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and system diagrams
- Liaise professionally with clients, site managers, and other trades — site meetings will form part of this role
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out, parts used, and system condition
- Manage materials and time effectively to keep projects running on schedule
- Work with a range of leading manufacturers including Daikin, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, and others
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in air conditioning installation — this is the primary focus of the role
- Working knowledge of service and breakdown procedures across a variety of systems and manufacturers
- F-Gas qualified (City & Guilds 2079 / FGAS Category 1)
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)
- CSCS card holder
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Highly motivated, well presented, and commercially aware
Desirable
- Experience across a broad range of manufacturers (Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Toshiba, Samsung, LG, etc.)
- Familiarity with BMS and controls integration
- Previous experience mentoring junior engineers or apprentices
