We are seeking a practical, reliable, and Multi-Skilled Handyman / Property Maintenance Subcontractor to handle everyday property repairs, maintenance, and upkeep across the Bury St Edmunds and Diss areas.
No formal trade qualifications are required. We are ideally looking for a self-employed professional or experienced individual who takes genuine pride in doing clean, tidy work and can complete small tasks independently. While you will manage smaller tasks on your own, you will work alongside other team members or subcontractors on larger, complex projects to provide trade support and general laboring.
Key Responsibilities
Property Maintenance: Carrying out general repairs, reactive maintenance, and turnaround work for letting agencies and rental properties.
Plumbing Support: Changing or fixing leaking taps, replacing washers, and minor plumbing repairs.
Sealing & Finishing: Neat execution of silicone sealant lines around baths, showers, and kitchen worktops.
Decorating: General patch painting, touching up walls, and basic prep work.
Tiling & Bathrooms: Completing small-scale tiling repairs or assisting with bathroom installations.
Garden Maintenance: Basic garden upkeep, outdoor tidying, and light garden work.
General Laboring: Teamworking on larger projects, handling materials, and keeping work sites clean and safe.
Requirements
Strong, practical multi-trade experience (DIY, property maintenance, rental upkeep, or property flipping background)
Must hold a full UK Driving Licence.
Must have a reliable personal vehicle OR be willing to drive a company-provided work van.
Access to your own basic hand and power tools for everyday jobs.
Already registered as self-employed (preferred).
High standard of work with a keen eye for detail (especially neat finishing on silicone and paint).
Excellent timekeeping, politeness, and a professional attitude in customer and tenant properties.
Pay: £140.00 per day
