As part of our continued growth, we are developing our in-house Occupational Health provision to support the health and safety of our site-based workforce.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Technician (level 2+ qualified) to support the delivery of a mobile occupational health service across our construction sites in London and the South East.
This role is ideally suited to someone with previous hands-on Occupational Health screening experience, particularly within construction, engineering, industrial, or site-based environments.
The successful candidate will work autonomously across multiple sites carrying out health surveillance activities and supporting the wider Occupational Health function, while working alongside an external Occupational Health clinical provider for escalations and clinical oversight.

Key Responsibilities
· Carry out occupational health screening and health surveillance activities, including:
· Audiometry
· Spirometry
· HAVS Tier 2 assessments
· General health screening
· Set up and manage on-site Occupational Health clinics independently
· Maintain accurate and confidential health records in line with HSE guidance and data protection requirements
· Ensure equipment is maintained, calibrated, and used correctly
· Liaise with the external Occupational Health provider regarding escalations and abnormal findings
· Work closely with Health & Safety and operational teams to coordinate surveillance activities across sites
· Promote positive health and wellbeing practices across the workforce
Essential Requirements (Applications Without These Will Not Be Considered)
· Previous Occupational Health Technician / Screening Technician experience
· Proven experience carrying out:
· Audiometry
· Spirometry
· HAVS Tier 2 screening
· Ability to work independently across multiple sites
· Strong organisational and communication skills
· Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
· Good IT and record management skills
· Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data protection
Strongly Preferred
· Previous experience within construction, engineering, utilities, or heavy industry
· Understanding of construction-related occupational health risks
· Experience working within a health surveillance programme
· Drug & alcohol testing experience
