RH Fibreboard Containers Ltd is looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse Operative to join our team in Thornbury.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business and play a key role in the safe storage, movement and dispatch of finished goods.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am to 4:45pm
- Friday: 8:00am to 12:00pm
About the Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will support the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, ensuring stock is stored accurately, goods are dispatched efficiently and health and safety standards are maintained at all times. The role includes forklift operation, loading and unloading vehicles, stock control and general warehouse duties.
Key responsibilities include:
- Moving, storing and dispatching finished goods safely and efficiently
- Operating a forklift truck and carrying out daily safety checks
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and accurately
- Locating, recording and managing stock within warehouse locations
- Maintaining stock accuracy through careful checking and record keeping
- Following warehouse procedures and safe working practices
- Supporting the Transport Manager with day-to-day warehouse activities
- Reporting safety, stock or equipment issues promptly
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, organised and able to work accurately under pressure
- Has a strong commitment to health and safety
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Works well as part of a team
- Is confident communicating with colleagues and drivers
- Has forklift experience or a forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
