Overview
Provide adhoc delivery services for our property management team throughout the week.
Van driver preferred.
Require full UK driving license, and preferably own van.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial van to deliver products to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and ensure on-time arrivals
- Load and unload packages, often involving heavy lifting, with attention to safety and accuracy
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain optimal safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports throughout your shift
- Assist in warehouse activities as needed, including inventory handling and order picking
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, with a strong focus on safety and punctuality
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; Van driver certification preferred
- Experience driving commercial vehicles such as vans or trucks of similar size
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus, especially familiarity with inventory handling and logistics processes
- Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and the ability to follow directions precisely
