We are currently looking for a PART-TIME KP
Approximately 5 - 15 hours per week. Please do not apply if you are looking for full time work.
Excellent tips.
Previous experience of working as a Kp in a kitchen environment is essential.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Wash and dry dishes.
- Assist chefs
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is a plus
- Clean kitchen fixtures.
- Clean the floor of kitchen area. Open to other duties
The ideal candidate will have:
A strong work ethic and able to work in a very busy environment under pressure
An enthusiasm for food
The ability to maintain their calm under pressure
The ability to delegate kitchen tasks appropriately
Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
Good organisational and timekeeping skills
The Kitchen Porter is an important role in our restaurant/hotel's kitchen.
