We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Health and Safety Consultant to join our organisation. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across various departments and sites to identify potential hazards.
- Develop, implement, and review health and safety policies in line with current legislation and best practices.
- Provide specialised advice on safety procedures, equipment, and organisational practices to minimise risks.
- Lead training sessions on health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures, for staff members.
- Perform root cause analysis following incidents or near-misses to determine underlying issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed reports on safety audits, incident investigations, and compliance status for management review.
- Monitor ongoing safety performance metrics and recommend improvements to enhance workplace safety culture.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in health and safety consultancy or related roles within an organisational setting.
- recognised qualification in health and safety management (e.g., NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent).
- First aid certification is highly desirable.
- Strong report writing skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in root cause analysis techniques to investigate incidents effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying potential hazards before they result in incidents. Pay: £31,123.69-£50,000.00 per year
