About the Role
MelioraFM Ltd. is a proud, family-run business committed to delivering exceptional facilities management. We are seeking a reliable and diligent Cleaner to work a Primary Academy.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the school site, including:
- Cleaning: Classrooms, entrance/reception, offices, toilets, staff room, kitchen, corridors, and stairs.
- Sanitisation: Thoroughly sanitising desks, furniture, and high-frequency touch points to ensure a safe environment.
- Detailed Cleaning: Vacuuming, damp mopping, and removing finger marks from glass doors.
- Restock supplies: Such as toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, and other consumables to ensure availability at all times
- Waste Management: Emptying bins and disposing of refuse in designated areas.
- Site Security: Acting as a key holder to ensure the site is fully locked, alarmed, and secured at the end of every shift.
Requirements
- DBS Compliance: As this role is based within an educational environment, a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check is a mandatory requirement.
- Reliability: You must be able to commit to the set hours of 16:30 – 19:00, Monday to Friday.
- Standards: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining professional standards.
Pay: £13.21 per hour
