Architectural Metalwork Fixer

Rate: £20.00-£22.00 per hour, depending on experience

START DATE: Immediate start
We are looking for experienced Architectural Metalwork Fixers to start ASAP on ongoing projects.
The role will involve the installation of architectural metalwork systems, including balcony balustrades and metal decking systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set out works from drawings and site instructions
- Install balcony balustrade systems
- Install metal decking systems
- Fix brackets, supports and associated metalwork components
- Ensure installations are level, aligned and securely fixed
- Read and interpret construction drawings
- Complete installations to the required quality and specification
- Work safely in accordance with site RAMS and procedures
- Work effectively alongside supervisors and other trades
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous architectural metalwork, balustrade or decking installation experience
- Ability to read and work from drawings
- Experience with relevant fixing methods and installation systems
- Valid CSCS card
- Able to operate in a flexible and adaptable manner and work as part of a team
- Open to attending training programmes to increase individual skills and knowledge
- Relevant NVQ is desirable but not essential
