We are looking for an experienced and reliable Shot Blast Operative to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and experience in shot blasting, surface preparation, or a similar manufacturing environment.
The Role
As a Shot Blast Operative, you will be responsible for preparing and finishing components to a high standard, ensuring all work meets our quality and production requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating shot blasting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Preparing metal components for coating, painting or finishing.
- Inspecting finished work to ensure it meets required quality standards.
- Loading and unloading components and managing materials safely.
- Maintaining a clean and organised working area.
- Carrying out routine checks and basic maintenance of equipment.
- Following company health & safety procedures at all times.
- Working effectively as part of the wider production team.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in shot blasting or a similar industrial/manufacturing role.
- Practical, hands-on and quality focused.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.
- Able to follow instructions and work to production deadlines.
- Committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety.
- Forklift Truck trained (desirable).
Previous experience in metal fabrication, industrial painting, surface preparation or a similar environment would be advantageous.
