*Job Summary*
We are seeking a Room Lead work with the Managers to support the daily operations of our full day care nursery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childcare and early childhood education, coupled with strong leadership skills and full of ambition.
We are a 50 place Nursery, in the fabulous setting of Buckingham Park Primary School, on a school site, surrounded by beautiful outdoor spaces.
This is a great opportunity for the right person with drive, ambition and experience to support and drive our Nursery onto the next level.
We have a small staff team who have an array of knowledge and experience within the childcare setting and local community. We are looking for the right candidate to work 3 to 4 days a week, 30-40 hours a week all year round, who can add to this team, creating a warm, safe and caring, stimulating and exciting environment, to enable learning through play.
We work closely with our other 3 small nursery settings, in the surrounding area.
Creativity, love of children, energetic, knowledge of child development, experience with emergent curriculum and enquiry-based learning, and a reflective teaching practice are the skill sets we are seeking for this position.
*Responsibilities*
- Support the nursery staff and ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and programmes
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being
- Drive continuous improvement in nursery operations and quality of care
*Experience*
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is essential
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Leadership abilities to guide and motivate staff
- Qualifications:
· Minimum Level 3 in Early Years Childcare qualification.
· Degree level or EYT advantageous.

Pay: £29,120.00-£33,800.00 per year
