About Right Price Tiles and Wood Flooring
Right Price Tiles and Wood Flooring is Ireland’s largest independent tile and wood flooring retailer, supported by 27 successful stores across the Island of Ireland. We are a dynamic, high-volume retailer known for offering premium products at competitive prices. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Showroom Sales Specialist to join our team.
This is a demanding yet highly rewarding role for a driven individual who thrives on achieving sales targets and is equally comfortable with the physical aspects of showroom operations.
Core Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be a key contributor to the store's success, focusing on two main areas: Sales Excellence and Showroom Operations.
1. Sales and Customer Engagement
- Retail and Trade Sales: Proactively engage with both retail customers and trade professionals (tilers, carpenters, designers) in the showroom, offering expert advice and product specifications on our extensive tile and wood flooring ranges.
- Target Achievement: Consistently work to outperform ambitious individual sales and margin targets, contributing directly to the branch’s overall profitability.
- Quotation and Order Management: Accurately prepare, follow up, and manage customer quotations, process orders efficiently, and handle all payment transactions.
- Building Relationships: Develop and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers, ensuring outstanding service to secure repeat business and referrals.
2. Showroom and Operational Support
- Merchandising: Maintain the highest standards of showroom presentation, ensuring all displays are clean, well-stocked, and reflect current marketing campaigns.
- Stock Control: Assist with general stock control duties, including managing inventory flow, performing accurate counts, and ensuring products are organised.
- Physical Requirements: Due to the nature of our products, this role requires heavy lifting as an essential and frequent part of the job (handling sample boards and customer orders).
- Forklift Operation: Operate a Forklift (training/certification may be provided or required) for moving and managing stock within the warehouse and yard area.
- Coordination: Coordinate effectively with the fitting teams, warehouse staff, and other sales personnel to ensure seamless order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
- Administration: Maintain accurate records and complete all administrative tasks related to sales and operations.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for an energetic and resilient individual with a genuine passion for sales and a strong work ethic.
