We are looking for a plants person to look after the perennial area on our busy nursery. Duties will include planning for the next growing season, selecting plants for splitting and potting on and helping with propagation, as well as pruning, weeding and watering.
This is an opportunity for those who enjoy working with their hands in a relaxed environment and enjoy being outside when the weather conditions allow. A Level 2 Horticulture qualification or similar experience would be an advantage.
We hope that you will be able to work four or five days a week full-time, but we can be flexible and work around other commitments such as child-care.
This is a permanent job, ideal for someone who wishes to develop their career in horticulture.
