Careconcepts Ltd are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team and make a real difference to the lives of our residents.
About the Role
You will be responsible for planning, organising, and delivering a varied programme of meaningful activities that promote wellbeing, independence, and social interaction for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging daily activities tailored to residents’ abilities and interests
- Encourage participation and support residents to remain active and socially connected
- Organise group activities, one-to-one sessions, and special events
- Work closely with care staff to ensure activities support individual care plans
- Maintain activity records and risk assessments in line with CQC standards
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and the wider community
What We’re Looking For
- A caring, positive, and creative personality
- Experience in an activities role (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and engage residents of varying needs
- Organised, reliable, and flexible approach
- Understanding of dementia care (desirable)
