About the Role
Gullo Building Materials and Commercial Services is looking for a Legal Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day administration of legal, contractual, and compliance matters across the business. This position is suited to someone who is organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working with contracts, legal documentation, internal records, and multiple stakeholders.
You will work closely with operational and commercial teams to help maintain accurate legal records, coordinate contract documentation, track deadlines, and support routine compliance activities. The role requires strong administrative skills and the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the preparation, review, filing, and tracking of contracts and legal documents.
- Maintain organised electronic and physical legal records.
- Monitor contract renewal dates, notice periods, and other important deadlines.
- Assist with gathering documentation for legal reviews, audits, and compliance checks.
- Support the administration of supplier, customer, and commercial agreements.
- Prepare routine correspondence, summaries, and documentation for internal review.
- Liaise with internal departments to obtain information required for legal and contractual matters.
- Maintain accurate trackers for agreements, claims, disputes, and compliance actions.
- Assist with document control and ensure appropriate versions and approvals are recorded.
- Support external solicitors or professional advisers by coordinating requested documentation.
- Help ensure company procedures are followed when contracts and legal documents are processed.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with appropriate discretion.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Previous experience in legal administration, legal operations, contracts administration, compliance support, paralegal work, or a similar office-based position is preferred.
Legal and Contract Knowledge: A practical understanding of contracts, legal documentation, compliance processes, or commercial administration is beneficial.
Organisation: Strong ability to manage several documents, deadlines, and requests at the same time while maintaining accuracy.
Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills with confidence working with colleagues, suppliers, advisers, and other stakeholders.
Administrative Skills: Comfortable maintaining records, preparing documents, updating trackers, and supporting structured administrative processes.
Digital Skills: Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, document management systems, and other standard office applications.
Attention to Detail: Able to identify missing information, inconsistencies, and important contractual dates before they become issues.
Confidentiality: Demonstrates sound judgement when handling commercially sensitive, legal, and confidential information.
Pay: £3,500.00 per month
