Hours
- Various shifts available — e.g. 10:00–14:00 / 08:00–14:00 / 11:00–19:00
The role of Catering Assistant:
- Assisting chefs in preparing balanced, wholesome meals
- Food preparation
- Serving from canteen bays
- Ensuring the kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and tidy
- Adhering to health and safety standards
The ideal Catering Assistant:
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate required (training and certificate can be provided)
- DBS certificate required for some locations (schools and care homes)
- Experience in the catering industry
- Own transport desirable due to some remote locations
