The Role
The Product Development Administrator provides administrative and coordination support to the product team throughout the product development lifecycle. The role ensures product information is accurately maintained, documentation is completed on time, and projects progress smoothly from concept through to launch.
Key responsibilities

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the product team.

Maintain accurate product specifications, technical documentation, and project records.

Coordinate product development timelines and monitor key project milestones.

Support the creation and maintenance of product information and product codes within company systems.

Sending and receiving samples.

Assist in preparing product launch documentation.

Update project trackers and produce progress reports.

Ensure all product data is accurate and complies with company procedures.

Work closely with Technical, Quality, Purchasing, Production, Marketing, and Sales teams to support product launches.

Maintain organised electronic and paper filing systems.

Support the management of packaging and label approvals where required.

Undertake general administrative duties as required.
Skills and Experience
Essential

Previous administrative experience.

Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills.
