Join our team as a Vehicle Technician, at a family business called Hereford Motor Group we are main dealers for KGM (formerly Ssangyong) and Main Dealers for Mitsubishi.

Duties
- Diagnose vehicle issues accurately using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
- Repair or replace faulty parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Conduct thorough safety inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate
- Heavy lifting of vehicle components or parts safely and efficiently as required
- Keep detailed records of all work performed, including parts used and repair procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service orders and high-quality workmanship
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with a passion for automotive technology
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repairs and maintenance tasks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively in a busy workshop setting
- Prior experience working as a vehicle technician or in a related automotive role is preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment
- Willingness to learn new skills and stay updated on the latest vehicle technologies
Training
Manufacturer Training is available for KGM and Mitsubishi, and you will have support from team members.
