Preschool Deputy Manager (Term Time Only)
Hours: Full Time, Term Time Only (8:00am – 3:15pm)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Deputy Manager to join our friendly team. This is a hands-on, in-ratio leadership role where you'll work directly with children while supporting the Preschool Manager in the day-to-day running of the setting.
You'll help lead a dedicated team, deliver high-quality early years education, promote outstanding safeguarding and welfare, and step into the Manager's role when required.
About You
You'll have:
- A Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience working in an early years setting.
- A strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development.
- Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
- A passion for providing high-quality care and education.
- Paediatric First Aid and safeguarding training (or a willingness to update if required).
The Role
- Support the daily management and smooth running of the preschool.
- Lead by example, inspiring and supporting the staff team.
- Deliver engaging, child-centred learning experiences.
- Act as a Key Person for a small group of children.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and professionals.
- Promote safeguarding, health and safety, and inclusive practice.
- Deputise for the Preschool Manager in their absence.
