Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our customers, ensuring that all IT systems and applications function smoothly.
This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff. Familiarity with various operating systems, particularly Microsoft Windws, and experience with support tools including Helpdesk Software and RMM systsems will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support for hardware and software issues, primarily focusing on desktop support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
- Maintain and manage IT inventory, including software licensing and hardware assets.
- Assist in the deployment of new systems and applications using a wider range of tools.
- Analyse system performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Document all support requests in the ticketing system for tracking purposes.
- Communicate effectively with users to understand their needs and provide timely updates on issue resolution.
- Visit customer sites to undertake project work including installation of IT systems, migration of data and general IT support (throughout the United Kingdom with a focus on London / Home Counties).
- Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance overall service delivery.
Experience
- Proven experience in an IT support role, preferably in a desktop support capacity including the Office 365 applications.
- Good experience in performing Office 365 administration tasks (admin portal).
- Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and familiarity with TCP/IP networking principles.
- Experience using technical support tools such as ticketing systems and support platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with users at all levels.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Please note that this is an in-person job which is based at our offices in Aldgate, London between 09:00 and 17:30 Monday to Friday. There is a requirement to travel to clients sites, on occassion, to commission new equipment and perform project work. A valid DVLA driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.
There is a requirement, due to the senstitive nature of some clients, to pass a DBS check prior to employment together with NPPV Level 3 clearance thereafter.

Pay: £31,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
