Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Artist to join our team. This role involves preparing fresh sandwiches and salads, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a positive attitude, contributing to a welcoming environment for all customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company standards
- Serve customers promptly and courteously at the counter
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the food preparation area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients
- Experience in kitchen environments or culinary roles is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions accurately
Start date: End of July - full 6 weeks training will be given
Pay: £11.00-£12.80 per hour
