Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation within our premises, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. Hours
The successful candidate will have a set rota of Wednesday to Sunday inclusive from 6.30am to approximately 12.30pm
Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities according to established standards
- Change bed linens, towels, and organise supplies as required
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning supplies
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly after use
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
- Maintain a professional appearance and friendly demeanour when interacting with guests and colleagues
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Janitorial experience or familiarity with cleaning procedures is desirable
- Knowledge of health and safety standards related to cleaning practices is beneficial
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the workplace
