Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Live in Carers to join or Live in Care team to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities in their own home. The ideal candidate will have experience in home care, assisted living, or nursing home environments and possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our service users. As a Live in Carer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of those you care for.
Our Live in Care Assistant role offers the following benefits:

Responsibilities
- Assist service users with dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor service users for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to service users, fostering a positive environment.
- Help with mobility and transfers, when necessary.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for service users
- Document care provided and report any changes in service users health or behaviour to appropriate personnel.
- Implement behaviour management techniques as required to ensure service user safety and comfort.
- Drive service users to appointments or social activities when necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience in Live in Care or home care, assisted living, or nursing home settings is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with service users and their families.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including Manual Handling and long periods of standing or walking.
- A valid driving licence with Business insurance is essential for transporting service users as needed.
