Due to continued expansion Sussex Stoneworks Ltd is recruiting for a full time, permanent Trainee Worktop Fitter.
This is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge and skillset by learning the trade of templating and installing a variety of worktops.
Working alongside our company directors and experienced fitters, you will be trained to template and fit stone worktops in both a residential and commercial setting. Our showroom is located in Hurstpierpoint, with our installations covering most of the Southeast of England.
Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent customer service
- Supporting fitters on installations
- Cutting and polishing worktops
- Handling tools and equipment
- Driving a company vehicle
- Adhering to health & safety guidelines by maintaining a tidy workspace
- Maintaining a professional conduct at all times
- Other ad hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence is required
- A genuine interest in the stone industry
- Strong communication skills
- Trustworthy
- Ability to support team members
