Hobbledown Epsom is looking for confident, energetic and engaging performers to join our Entertainment Team during weekends and school holidays.
This role is perfect for lively, expressive performers who thrive in character, enjoy improvisation, and love creating magical moments for children and families. You’ll be part of the team that brings the world of Hobbledown to life — delivering high‑quality roaming entertainment across the attraction.
As an Entertainment Performer, you will:
Deliver high‑energy roaming character performances across the site
Engage confidently with children and families in a fun, interactive setting
Improvise naturally while maintaining character integrity and enthusiasm
Create memorable guest interactions that elevate the Hobbledown experience
Support live entertainment programmes, seasonal events and themed activities
Maintain high standards of performance, presentation and costume care
Contribute to the overall atmosphere, energy and guest engagement throughout the attraction
This is an active, guest‑facing performance role requiring confidence, stamina, creativity and a genuine passion for entertaining families.
You must be:
A confident and capable performer with strong improvisation skills
Comfortable performing in character for extended periods
Energetic, expressive and naturally enthusiastic
Confident engaging with children and families of all ages
Professional, reliable and punctual with strong presentation standards
Someone who brings positivity, imagination and consistency to every performance
Desirable (but not essential):
Experience in children’s entertainment, immersive theatre or themed attractions
Ability to sing and/or dance
Previous experience in interactive or character‑based performance
Regular weekend availability is essential, along with full‑time availability during school holidays.
