Overview
We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join our team. This role involves managing front desk operations, providing excellent customer service, and supporting administrative functions within our organisation. The ideal candidate will be friendly, efficient, and proficient in various office software and communication tools. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your administrative skills in a dynamic environment. Also will include cleaning and checking the spa area.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls using proper phone etiquette
- Manage appointments and organise schedules efficiently
- Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
- Handle correspondence via email and postal mail
- Maintain organised records and filing systems
- Assist with general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing documents
- Support team members with clerical tasks as required
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming at all times
Skills
- Proven office experience or administrative experience preferred
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive)
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous
- Effective data entry skills with high accuracy and typing speed
- Good phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with clerical procedures and office management systems
