Overview
We are looking for a Class 2 Tipper Driver. Duties
- Safely operate Class 2 tipper trucks to transport construction materials, aggregates, or waste products to designated locations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking fluid levels, brakes, lights, and tipping mechanisms
- Load and unload materials efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and weight limits
- Navigate routes effectively using GPS or maps, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and vehicle inspection records
- Communicate clearly with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies to promote a secure working environment
Experience
- Proven experience as a commercial driver, specifically with delivery or tipper trucks
- Valid Class 2 driving license with a clean driving record
- Familiarity with operating flatbed trucks or similar heavy vehicles is advantageous
- Knowledge of safe loading/unloading procedures for construction or bulk materials
- Experience in delivering goods using a variety of routes in urban or rural settings
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report issues promptly
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and compliance standards
