Flexible Working

The role of the Assistant Zone Manager is to support the Zone Manager in the delivery of safe and compliant buildings and associated public realm which are well maintained (both technically and aesthetically), fully operational, and meet the needs and expectations of staff, students, tenants, and visitors.
Under the direction of the Zone Manager, manage day-to-day reactive and planned maintenance work through a small team and ensure that all stakeholders are communicated with appropriately, and given information and notice of activities that affect them. Being a large campus that operates all day every day of the year, you’ll need to be available to work weekends when required (approx. 5 weekends a year). However, you’ll only ever be required to work 5 days in 7.

About You
We are seeking an individual who can provide direct support and day-to-day management to the Maintenance Staff working in their buildings. Monitor performance of reactive and planned work within the zone and ensure that work is completed safely and in line with customer needs and expectations.
