Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Paint and Preparation Specialist for spraying projects. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint using spray equipment to ensure high-quality finishes on various materials. Your expertise in surface preparation, use of hand and power tools, and understanding of fabrication processes will be essential to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to modify or repair surfaces prior to painting
- Mix paints, primers, and coatings accurately using basic math skills to achieve desired color and consistency
- Set up spray equipment, ensuring proper calibration and safety procedures are followed before application
- Apply paint using spray guns or other methods with precision, maintaining consistent coverage and quality standards
- Conduct inspections of prepared surfaces and finished work to identify imperfections or areas needing touch-up
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools, materials, and safety equipment
Experience
- Prior experience in construction painting, fabrication, or warehouse environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to surface preparation and spray equipment operation
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and assembly processes
- Basic math skills for mixing paints and measuring materials accurately
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and construction site standards is a plus
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced settings

Pay: £18.00-£25.00 per hour
