The role will involve preparing equipment, apparatus and materials such as electrical, chemical, living, teaching kits for use by teachers and pupils during classes in all departments as well as installing, commissioning and upgrading hardware, peripherals, software, and all networked IT devices in line with IT Services.
As a Technician, you will work under the direction and supervision of the Senior Technician.

Qualification, Registration and Skill Requirements
Educated to SCQF level 7 which includes Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Science, Information Technology (IT), Electrical or equivalent and 4 Standard Grades (at level 3 or above) or equivalent in Science subjects, English and Mathematics.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
